Program vision

The development and advancement of medical research work in the health sector to get it at the international level. To that end, we cultivate excellence and collegiality within an inclusive community, so we attract and develop a diverse and talented academic workforce. We lead the revolution in human medicine by enhancing our intellectual and technological environment to foster exceptionally creative research and education to respond to the accelerated new challenges. We aim at anchoring this view to carry out the tasks and responsibilities to ensure the best heath care for patients.  We are fully determined to maintain excellent clinical programs to provide outstanding health care to the society. So we strive for highest standards of ethics, integrity and compassionate care.

Program mission

Layout the basic and concrete foundations for medical and health education in Palestine, since the college of human medicine is committed to educating exemplary physicians and scholars, discovering and disseminating new knowledge, and providing outstanding primary and specialty care services at home and abroad. We are committed to provide solid scientific background and opportunities to students to enroll in fields at the front edge and of high demand to their nation. This is necessarily coordinated with relevant sectors of common interest.

Program Objectives

1. Provide Palestine with highly qualified physicians to serve the nation and to fulfill its demands.
2. Give the opportunity for local students to study at a national university to avoid traveling abroad to study medicine with all its consequences.
3. Advocate for improvements in local healthcare systems and community health and to be introduced the patterns of local and regional diseases and environment.
4. To create and develop a scientific research system in medicine.
5. Provide the needed responsibilities for health centers and monitoring the health environment to solve the medical challenges that society faces.
6. Engage in scholarly inquiry with a goal of advancing knowledge in the service of the mission of medicine both nationally and regionally.
7. Develop and update the teaching curriculums, plans, and methodologies continuously by keeping up with modern scientific developments.
