This course provides students with knowledge of management and leadership principles, theories and related functions needed and utilized by the nurse leader in order to organize effective client care in various health care clinical settings. This course aims at sharpening student skills in managing personnel and programs as well as integrating knowledge and skills gained in other modules during the student studying in the university, and help students to start new programs and innovative approaches to planning, implementing and evaluating programs and projects at student's community related work settings and sites. The course introduces the concept of health economics, health systems financing and cost effectiveness of services, while emphasizing the maintenance of the effectiveness of care to demonstrate social responsibility.
