This course is a prerequisite for midwifery II. It describe the normal physiologic  and psychological changes students would expect. It enables them to find when performing a physical assessment on apregnant woman. Summarize the essential components of a prenatal history. Relate the danger signs of pregnancy to their possible Causes and also it includes the stages of fetal development as well as different methods of determining fetal well being. The midwife scope & role in the care of normal pregnancy will be addressed .
