Dr. Waleed Basha, staff member at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah participated in a workshop on Borreliosis at the Swiss Clinic this December.
Dr. Basha presented a number of medical research papers conducted in Palestine on Borreliosis and its relation to sudden death.
The workshop resulted in collaboration among experts to introduce joint projects with An-Najah that cover university tuition fees in Palestine.

The workshop was also attended by Dr. Anwar Grace from the Swiss Clinic who is an expert in Borreliosis therapy via Hyperthermia; Professor Martin Sever from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and Prof. Marion Schneider from Ulm University in Germany.
