Dr. Amira Shaheen and Dr. Abdulsalam Khayyat from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah have recently concluded a research visit to London.

The visit was over 3 days from January 10th – January 12th, 2018.

The visit aimed to exhibit the preliminary findings of the first stage of the joint research project which is conducted in cooperation between the University of Bristol, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the University of São Paulo in Brazil and the World Health Organization in Geneva.

The two-day workshop shed light on developing a training and intervention tool in the second stage of the project which is funded by the British Medical Association.

It is worth mentioning that the local partner Juzoor for Health and Social Development Palestine will be offering training for the trainers in this project.
