An-Najah’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences has recently participated in the International Congress and Exhibition on Pharmacy, which took place from April 3rd-5th, 2017 in Dubai, UAE.
The event was organized by the Scientific Federation and aimed at exploring the advances and challenges in pharmacy.
Dr. Asma Radwan, Lecturer at the Pharmacy Department at An-Najah presented a research paper titled: “Food effect: The combined effect of media pH and viscosity on the gastrointestinal absorption of ciprofloxacin tablet” which shed light on food-drug interactions in Palestine.
The paper was conducted in cooperation with Dar Al-Shifa Pharmaceuticals Plc Company and was published by the European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
An-Najah delegation also discussed possible means of mutual cooperation with participating universities.
