An-Najah Professor Participates in the 10th Conference of the European Family Therapy Association

As a representative of An-Najah National University, Palestine and the Arab World, Dr. Mohammad Mari, staff member at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science has recently participated in the 10th Conference of the European Family Therapy Association Visible and Invisible: Bordering Change in Systemic Family Therapy (EFTA-SIPPR 2019) as a key note speaker.

Dr. Mari presented his research paper on family psychotherapy in Palestine in which he discussed the challenges that face Psychotherapists in Palestine under occupation as well as the treatment methods of psychosocial problems inside the family. He also talked about his experience in providing psychological care in the UK and Palestine.

The conference took place in Naples, Italy and was attended by 1500 scientists, researchers, and psychotherapy and mental health specialists around the world.
