Scientific Workshop for Crime Lab Officers in Ramallah

Dr. Basma Damiri, coordinator of clinical research Master program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences gave a lecture on scientific research development for crime lab officers in Ramallah. The meeting aimed to introduce the lab staff to methodologies of doing research and ways to publish research in scientific journals and submit it in related international conferences.

The workshop was over three days where different scientific research papers were discussed. The papers were proposed by the lab staff.

 

 

The workshop resulted in a number recommendations, most important are establishing a unit for scientific research in the crime lab supervised by a lab officer, following-up on the proposed research papers conducted  during 2020, and preparing a memorandum of understanding between the Crime Lab and An-Najah National University with regards to scientific research.
