Dr. Nimer Adeeb, a graduate from An-Najah School of Medicine, and current Neurosurgery Resident in the USA, was recently awarded the Best Clinical Research Award in an annual Neurosurgery conference that was held in the State of Louisiana.

The research study is about the use of platelet function testing before Pipeline stenting of cerebral aneurysms. It was published in the journal Stroke, and its results lead to practice change among neurointerventionalists in the USA and Canada.

This is the second award for this study after it received the Best Clinical Research award in the annual meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons last year and was presented at the Plenary Session.
