During this course, students are given the chance to experience their surgical knowledge in external hospitals outside the educational hospitals by doing different clerkships in surgical specialties inside and outside the Palestinian hospitals including European and American hospitals. Students must be evaluated at the end of their elective course by their supervising doctors of their different surgical aspects and reports from the students are provided about their experience, surgical practice and social interaction during their elective course.
