This course will cover the etiology and pathology of the important cardiovascular diseases that
are related to physiotherapy rehabilitation in addition to common cardiovascular/pulmonary
disorders and ECG interpretation. Students will learn how to plan a therapeutic program for
cardiovascular patients. Students will learn the role of physiotherapy in management of cardio
and pulmonary diseases. Students will be able to read the ECG and some of the related
diagnostics laboratory test; however, they will not be experts in ECG or diagnostics tests as it is
not the main goal of this module. Students will be able to evaluate, deal and manage respiratory
cases by using valid and reliable assessment tools
