The main aim of this course is to introduce to gait analysis and to present the theoretical underpinnings, technical observation and assessment skills necessary to quickly and accurately identify gait abnormalities. These abnormalities, or biomechanical insufficiencies, may contribute to the current or future injuries of an affected patient. Students will be able to determine the best intervention/s to allow the patients to return to or continue life at their desired level. This course will enable students to take the following course and learn the basics of biomechanics and kinesiology course more easily.
