Students will able to lean the basic medical terminology. This course will provide the framework
needed before advancing to a more comprehensive medical terminology course designed for
those seeking to become a coder. This course will focus on the many components of a medical
term and physiotherapy term and how to break down a medical term by simply knowing the
meaning of the prefix or suffix. By learning the individual parts of a medical word, student will
not need to memorize hundreds of complex medical terms and their definitions. In addition,
students will able to understand and learn the following courses easily.
This is a great beginner course to take on your career path as a coder, and also serves equally
well as a refresher for all health information management professionals.
