During this fourth year course, the students will develop their clinical skills and knowledge in Speech Language Pathology. Students will practice their clinical skills in SLP in King Abdullah University Hospital. The students will gradually progress from assessment and treatment of articulation and language disorders in children into management of cases with fluency disorders, cleft palate, voice disorders and hearing impairment. Student will have direct involvement with patients and their families under supervision, and finally to independent involvement. It is essential that where students are placed for clinical practice, a full-time qualified SLP is in attendance for supervisory and teaching purposes. Additionally intensive supervision will be guaranteed through the University Speech and Hearing faculty members.
