Cerebral palsy is a sensorimotor disorder that affects the control of posture and
movement. This deficit affects the communication competence in all speech and
language aspects, in this course we will discuss the nature of cerebral palsy from
the perspective of its etiology, features, diagnosis, and the possible treatment of the
speech disorders concomitant with it.
